The botanical garden is composed of two parts: the aquatic plant area on the left side and the terrestrial plant area on the right.
The aquatic vegetation area is designed for visitors to set up aquatic wooden trestle, visitors can walk along the trestle, enjoy water lilies, smell flowers, close to nature. Walking into the warehouse, reeds, re-energetic flowers, calamus, cattails, Qianqu vegetables, scallions and other elegant and beautiful, lotus, Barracuda and other fragrant swaying fragrance, as well as floating water lilies, anchovy and other autumn blooming, a careful look, that is foxtail algae, goldfish algae, bitter grass, etc. with the wave.
The terrestrial botanical garden covers an area of 2,000 square meters, concentrating the native tree species in Jiangsu Province, and introducing some well-adapted exotic tree species, which are divided into four areas: spring bloom, summer flower, autumn fruit and winter scenery. There are more than 100 kinds of flowers and trees planted, such as plum blossom, begonia, magnolia, Qionghua, gardenia, acacia, osmanthus fragrans, wax plum, etc. Botanical Garden has realized the purpose of popular science and leisure tourism for tourists, and it is also one of the important training bases for students of Jiangsu Agricultural and Forestry Vocational and Technical College.
